2020 MLB Cactus League

OH was 2020 spring training suppose to be the greatest year ever! It was to my first Cactus League experience as a Phoenix area resident, with ballparks in every direction of home. In fact, the Padres and Mariners being just a 10 minute zip over to the ballpark. 

Well, as we all know 2020, hasn't exactly turned out so great. What I can share during my son and I's brief 10 day ST stint was that we got to know the Peoria facility pretty well. 

We were able to meet and chat with the likes of Jarred Kelenic, Trent Grisham, Wil Myers, Chris Paddack, Rick Sutcliffe, Adbert Alzolay, Craig Kimbrel, Miguel Amaya, among many others. So close to getting Tatis, but that will have to be another day.

Not sure what 2021 will bestow upon us. I suspect, the experience of chatting with the ball players will be quite limited.
